John completed his surveying training, working with a national building contractor for seven years on large commercial developments.

In 1996 he entered into the partnership housing market and has since gained experience with Kelvin, Beazer and Tilbury Douglas Homes before joining Persimmon Partnerships (Scotland) as Chief Surveyor in 2000.

He has overseen numerous projects from appraisal stage to completion, involving clients such as South Lanarkshire Council, North Lanarkshire Council and a large number of housing associations.

His became Commercial Manager with Persimmon Partnerships (Scotland) in 2004 with responsibility for all commercial matters. It should be noted that John retains close links with all client groups to aid communication processes and successful contract completion.
